Results of Round I in the Violin category have been announced
Milyukov, Pavel; Conunova, Alexandra; Kishima, Mayu; Kim, Younguk; Starikov, Stepan; Kim, Bomsori; Tseng, Yu-Chien; Kang, Clara-Jumi; Jang, Yoo Jin; Kazazyan, Haik; Pospelov, Sergey; Andersen, Christopher Tun.
The following 12 contestants will advance to Round II of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition:

Round I was held on June 17-20 at the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
Jury for the Violin category included: Salvatore Accardo, Liana Isakadze, Leonidas Kavakos, Boris Kuschir, Ilya Kaler, Maxim Fedotov, Vera Tsu Wei Ling, Mihaela Martin, Victor Tretyakov, Michael Haefliger, James Ehnes.
