Winner of the Grand Prix at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar became a soloist of the Mariinsky Opera Company
First Prize (Gold Medal) and Grand Prix winner at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar (baritone) became part of the Mariinsky Opera Company. Previously, the singer had also frequently appeared on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in Vladivostok. Among the parties performed at these venues, there is Escamillo (Carmen opera by Georges Bizet) and Baron Scarpia (Tosca opera by Giacomo Puccini).
In 2014, Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar became a soloist with the Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. In August 2018, in the framework of the XI Spasskaya Tower Military Music Festival and Tattoo, Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar together with Hibla Gerzmava, People’s Artist of Russia, performed “Moscow Nights” song in Red Square. In November 2018, he performed at the Gala Opening of the VII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, presenting “Toreador Song” from Carmen opera by Georges Bizet.
