Triumphal tour of Daniil Trifonov
On February 9 the winner of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition Daniil Trifonov appears at the Carnege Hall. This concert was sold out a long time before the date.
The program includes Andante in F Major (“Andante favori”) and Piano Sonata No. 18 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Bunte Blätter and Presto passionato by Robert Schumann and Piano Sonata No. 8 by Sergei Prokofiev. Soon Daniil Trifonov will perform this program at the Herkulessaal in Munich (on 12 February) and at the Elbphilharmonic (on 14 February). These two performances are sold-out too.
