Gala concert of the anniversary, XV Crescendo Music Festival directed by Denis Matsuev took place in the Moscow Zaryadye Concert Hall

On November 22, the concert was opened by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets and artistic director of Crescendo, People's Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev.

On the stage of the Zaryadye Great Hall, the renowned Austrian violinist and viola player Julian Rakhlin, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam Alexei Ogrinchuk (oboe), the winner of international competitions Ekaterina Mochalova (domra) and the festival’s artistic director, pianist Denis Matsuev, performed

The new generation of stars of classical music presented: the winner of the Grand Prix of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition Alexander Kantorov (piano), laureate of the 3rd prize of the Cello Category Anastasia Kobekina, winner of the Grand Prix of the Grand Piano International Competition for Young Pianists Competition (2018) Alexandra Dovgan and winner of the Open All-Russian television competition “Blue Bird” (2018), scholarship holder Charity Fund "New Names" Anastasia Tyurina (balalaika).

On the stage of the Zaryadye Concert Hall, works of Russian and foreign classical music of the 18th – 19th centuries were heard. Accompanied by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanov, under the direction of Alexander Sladkovsky, performed the compositions of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Liszt Ferenc, Johannes Brahms, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Camille Saint-Saens and other composers.
