The results of the second round of the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition for the specialty Brass have been announced
Upon the Jury's decision, the following contestants are qualified for the Third round:

Ivanov Aleksey (Trumpet) Russia
Samigullin Vilnur (Tuba) Russia
Jin Zhicheng (French horn) China
Salomatnikov Semyon (Trumpet) Russia
Trukhachev Vsevolod (French horn) Russia
Bacevic Stepan (Trumpet) Russia
Jury have selected 2 of the best participants of the Second round that did not advance into the finals, to receive a diploma and a $1000.00 prize:

3 of the best accompanists will be awarded a diploma and a $1000.00 prize:

The Third round in the specialty Brass was held from June 26 till June 27, at the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella. The Third round of the Competition’s auditions, where the contestants will be accompanied by an orchestra, starts on June 29 at the Mariinsky Concert Hall in Saint-Petersburg.
